J.E. Anderson Expands into the North Island

The Partners at J.E. Anderson & Associates are pleased to announce the company has opened a 4th office on Vancouver Island – now operating out of Campbell River to better serve the North Island region.

Campbell River Welcomes You

“We’re seeing the population increase all along Vancouver Island as it attracts families, as well as retirees from across Canada,” said Jeff Tomlinson, Partner and Manager, Engineering in the Nanaimo office of J.E. Anderson. “We see a lot of opportunities to work with a variety of stakeholders, including developers, First Nations, government bodies, regulators and others located around Campbell River and northward.”

The Campbell River office will feature some familiar faces, in addition to new staff.

“We have a strong team in place there to provide land surveying and civil engineering,” said Jeff. “We are pleased to have Land Surveyor, and Engineer, Colin Burridge serving our clients through this new office. Colin brings more than 30 years of experience and is well-known and respected in the community.”

Vancouver Island’s oldest homegrown land surveying and engineering company has come a long way since its formation nearly six decades ago. Back in 1959, J.E. Anderson & Associates started in Victoria with one office and just six employees. It has since rapidly expanded with offices in Victoria, Nanaimo, Parksville and Campbell River and a staff of more than 50 highly skilled employees, including civil engineers, BC Land Surveyors, technicians and survey crews. Projects range from single-lot subdivisions to multi-year phased developments, forestry, first nations land claims surveys and municipal infrastructure projects.

J.E. Anderson’s new office is located at Unit F – 1250 E. Cedar St.
