J.E. Anderson & Associates’ Victoria office is nearing completion on Ecoasis Bear Mountain’s Cypress subdivision. JEA’s integrated legal survey and engineering team actively worked with the Ecoasis development team to develop a subdivision that is sandwiched between an active golf course, a Provincial Park, and environmentally sensitive areas. The topography of the site required considerable lot grading design. However, the Cypress subdivision will become a neighbourhood of executive lots with stunning viewscapes of Goldstream Park, Mt. Finalyson and, of course, the Bear Mountain Golf Course.
“The Cypress subdivision has not even finished and I understand that Ecoasis is already overwhelmed with prospective buyers,” said Ross Tuck, P.Eng and JEA’s project manager for the Cypress subdivision. “When we’re done, it is rewarding to see people start to build their homes and watch the community develop.”

Marketing initiatives to attract traffic to Bear Mountain will directly benefit Builder’s selling their homes. This collaborative effort includes a new Bear Mountain website with tools (a site map with specific information on each of the single family lots including renderings, floor plans, and builder information on their finished home for each lot) that will provide increased exposure to the Builder and their Cypress homes. The same information will be available at the Bear Mountain Sales Office and via email, providing potential buyers of a new home at Bear Mountain direct access to the Designated Builders. The exclusive nature of this relationship is extremely beneficial to the buyer.
