Jim Buchanan, P.Eng

Design Engineer Jim Buchanan, P.Eng has spent most of his life on Vancouver Island, having grown up in Metchosin and raised four sons in the mid-Island region. For the last 12 years he has worked in the Nanaimo office of J.E. Anderson & Associates.

He is inspired by learning new things, working with a great team, and puzzling through a problem and coming up with a top-notch solution.

Doug Holmes, BCLS

Land Surveyor and Partner Doug Holme has been with J.E. Anderson & Associates for 25 years, working in the Nanaimo office. He has a B.Sc. in Geomatics Engineering from the University of Calgary, and a Diploma of Technology in Surveying and Mapping from BCIT.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, Doug enjoys collaborating with his colleagues to help clients building new developments in the mid-Island region.


 

Jeff Tomlinson

Jeff Tomlinson, Partner and Manager, Engineering at the Nanaimo office of J.E. Anderson & Associates has been with the company for more than 20 years.

The opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of solution-oriented professionals to serve many different clients with a variety of expectations keeps him looking forward to going into the office each day.

Scott Stevenson, P.Eng

Civil Engineer Scott Stevenson, P.Eng has been with J.E. Anderson for nearly a decade, working in the Nanaimo office. He moved to Vancouver Island from Montreal, Quebec and hasn’t looked back.

He enjoys the friendly, yet professional atmosphere at J.E. Anderson, as well as the unique challenges that come up on the job, such as one development that had to incorporate a First Nations burial ground and a rare protected plant called Lotus Pinnatus into its plans.

Scott is inspired by creating new communities residents can enjoy and grow with.
