New Rental Apartments at Willow Point

J.E. Anderson and Associates is delighted to be working with Westurban Developments Ltd. on the construction of purpose-built rental apartments in Willow Point, at the south end of Campbell River.

Willow Point Apartments will bring much-needed rental housing to Campbell River, featuring 51 units with a contemporary design aesthetic and oceanfront views. The four-storey mixed-use building will also have more than 4,300 sq. ft. of retail or office space on the ground floor.

As part of our suite of land development consulting services, J.E. Anderson offers expertise in civil design, including site servicing design, access design, and assisting with onsite grading.

Westurban Developments retained J.E. Anderson to take care of the offsite civil design aspects of the Willow Point Apartments project. JEA’s engineering staff came up with a clever design that reused the existing drain service and water service coming across the South Island Highway. We worked collaboratively with the City of Campbell River to make adjustments to the existing centre median on the highway to allow for the city’s tower fire truck to make a left hand turn when exiting the site and we needed to make the driveway access wide enough for larger vehicles to enter the site coming south bound on the Island Highway. JEA staff also assisted with some onsite grading issues for the access to the underground parkade.
