Phase 4, featuring 31 new homes, is now finished, and Phase 5, the final phase, will see another 32 new houses, and building of those houses is now 50% complete.
More than a decade ago, Land Surveyors at J.E. Anderson first started working on the preliminary designs for Cedar Ridge, which led to the completion of subdivision plans and registration of new lots. Surveyors not only did the surveying for the subdivision, but also for each of the 117 lots where houses either have been built or will soon be built.
“It has been rewarding to see this project progress from the planning stages through to the final homes being built,” said Ken Kyler, B.C. Land Surveyor at J.E. Anderson’s Parksville office. “We enjoy being a part of the planning process, including creating lot configurations and getting approvals in place.”Kyler added it has been a pleasure working with Bill van Steen and John Carey Developments on the construction surveys for the new homes.
Like so many communities on Vancouver Island, the demand for housing in Parksville is high.
