Project Highlights

At JEA we have had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients.

Civil Engineering

JEAs’ broad range in civil engineering projects covers several speciality areas including transportation, environmental, maritime and geotechnical.

Civil engineers conceive, design, build, supervise, operate, construct and maintain infrastructure projects and systems in the public and private sector, including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and systems for water supply and sewage treatment.

We pride ourselves on delivering seamless, integrated design across the building’s entire lifecycle – from concept and planning, through design and construction, to commissioning and operations. Additionally, we develop intelligent structural solutions that complement the architectural vision.

JEA's engineers often work collaboratively with the company’s land surveyors for additional streamlining and efficiency, so clients only need to coordinate with one team of experienced land development consulting professionals.

Our Services
Feasibility studies, where we will review site serviceability to provide information to municipalities for planning future growth or infill development within the neighbourhood
Asset management studies to determine the existing condition, replacement values, maintenance plans and replacement plans for municipal infrastructure and equipment
Infrastructure capacity studies and planning to review the capacity and condition of the water, wastewater and stormwater systems and plan for growth and future development.
Preliminary and conceptual designs to review servicing and provide recommendations for current and future growth
Development and servicing agreements between developers and municipalities to maintain the municipality’s standards. As part of this, levies can be determined based on plans for future growth to ensure municipalities are able to provide amenities, such as parks, roadways, stormwater retention, waste and wastewater distribution and treatment as growth takes place
Roadway planning and parking suitable for your community
Water distribution systems and modelling for proposed water systems to ensure fire flow capabilities and design for adequate pumping and distribution pressure
Wastewater and stormwater management system planning, including solutions for storing and retaining excess stormwater
Budgeting for preliminary assessment schedules for local improvements, which may include road construction, wastewater and stormwater projects
